On-line SYSTEMS (UPS that works continuously):
They are systems which are always kept in (inverter on). In these systems, transfer delay does not occur like in off-line systems. In such systems critical load always feeds from the UPS. UPS system must carry the load voltage all the time. While main feeding cuts off , UPS batteries provide the necessary energy for load over the inverter. Because of that there is no energy cut in the load ends.
Combi UPS (POWER SUPPLY)
In the combi UPS, load feeds from the network as long as the energy in it. If the energy cut off in the network, inverter is kept ready and becomes active. When off-line UPS is preferred, start-up time in the case of interruption should be chosen shortest. In general, it is convenient for single user computer systems and electronic devices that are not very sensitive.
How do UPSs work?
UPSs in market work in three different systems. These are;
a)off-line systems
b)line interactive systems
c)on-line systems
Off-line SYSTEMS (CLOSE SYSTEM UPS):
